Night Dives in Gran Canaria

If you want a truely memorable diving experience in the Canaries, then a night dive is one of the best ways to do it. There can be huge changes between the marine life visible during the day and the night. During the day damselfish, wrasse, pufferfish, bream and parrotfish may make up the bulk of the fishlife, yet on a night dive they may have dissapeared or be found hiding and sleeping. Then other species come out, such as golden balearic congors, red-legged octopus, squid, canarian dancing shrimps and more rays and angelsharks. Where have they been hiding during the day?

One of the best ways to do a night dive is to dive the same area during the day and during the night. Night dives in the El Cabrón Reserve are always great fun so if you want to see a completely different side to the the night life here contact our diving centre to reserve a place on a night dive now.
